  • Development of a comprehensive technique for soil moisture estimation using L & S band airborne polarimetric SAR data, Funding scheme: NISAR, ISRO
  • Development of advanced algorithms for land use land cover classification using deep learning techniques, Funding scheme: MAHTRAM, ISRO
  • Design and Development of a Scalable Framework for Geospatial/Geoscience Data Ingestion, Ad-hoc Queries and Analysis on Big Data Environment, Funding agency: ISRO

  • IoT-Based Application for Work-Life Balance: Funded by Nirma University and completed in March 2025, with a utilized amount of INR 46,953 (approximately INR 0.47 lakh).
  • Smart Travelling Bag: Funded by Nirma University and completed in March 2023, with an utilized amount of INR 41,023 (approximately INR 0.41 lakh).
  • Land-Cover Classification of Polarimetric SAR Images/Data for Agricultural and Urban Regions: Funded by SAC-ISRO and completed in August 2021, with an utilized amount of approximately INR 13.92 lakh.
  • Spectral Discrimination and Separability Analysis of Crops and Weeds Using Deep Learning Techniques: Funded by SAC-ISRO and completed in March 2020, with an utilized amount of INR 11,26,905 (approximately INR 11.27 lakh).

Ongoing

  • AI/ML-Based Mapping of Planetary Morphology and Morphometry: A two-year research project funded by ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru, initiated in November 2024, with a sanctioned amount of INR 13.93 lakh.
  • Design and Development of an Android Smartphone Application to Mitigate Flood Disaster Using NavIC: A two-year research project funded by SAC-ISRO, initiated in November 2024, with a sanctioned amount of approximately INR 18.76 lakh.
  • Automatic Detection and Analysis of Lunar Surface Mineralogy from Hyperspectral Data Using Deep Learning Techniques: A three-year research project funded by ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru, initiated in January 2023, with a sanctioned amount of INR 21.45 lakh.
